What is Bhadali Navami?
Bhadali Navami is one of the most auspicious days in the Hindu calendar. Unlike most occasions, where a muhurat is chosen after checking the Panchang, Bhadali Navami itself is believed to be an auspicious muhurat. For this reason, many devotees choose this day to begin a new chapter in life. Some of the common ceremonies performed on Bhadali Navami include:

Bhadali Navami is among the few days that are regarded as an Abujh Muhurat, i.e., an auspicious time in which important ceremonies can be performed.
What makes Bhadali Navami even more special is that it is the last highly auspicious day before Chaturmas begins. During Chaturmas, Bhagwan Vishnu enters Yog Nidra (divine sleep), and various auspicious ceremonies, especially marriages, are postponed until Devuthani Ekadashi.
Bhadali Navami is also the final day of Ashadha Gupt Navratri.
