The Lakshmi Narayan Anushthan is performed at Shri Dhaneshwar Mahadev Temple in the sacred city of Ujjain under the guidance of Pujya Acharya Pt. Vasudev ji Shastri. This Anushthan is not performed as a common group ritual. Instead, it is carried out especially in your name and for your personal prayer and intention The Anushthan begins with a Sankalp, where your full name, gotra (ancestral lineage), and personal prayers are offered before Bhagwan Vishnu and Maa Lakshmi. This sacred step creates a personal spiritual connection between you and the puja being performed. After the Sankalp is completed, one by one, sacred offerings like yellow flowers, yellow cloth, besan laddus, jaggery, chana dal, Tulsi leaves, sandalwood, incense sticks, and diyas are lovingly offered at the feet of Bhagwan Vishnu and Maa Lakshmi. During the Anushthan, powerful hymns like Vishnu Sahasranama and Shri Suktam are recited with devotion. The Anushthan concludes with Aarti, where your name and prayers are once again offered before Bhagwan Vishnu and Maa Lakshmi.
